About KitchenSecrets
Vegetarian Indian recipes, built to be cooked along with rather than read from.
Most recipe sites give you a wall of text and leave you to it. The difficult parts of cooking are not the ingredient list — they are knowing how long something really takes, what flame it should be on, and how to tell when it is done. So every recipe here runs as a guided session: timers for each step, the flame level shown and called out when it changes, and a cue for what to look for.

How recipes are made
Recipes are cooked and tested in our own kitchen, and every page says whether that has happened yet — one we have not cooked says so at the top, one we have carries the date. The pictures are a separate matter: our photographs are our own, and where a picture was generated rather than photographed it is captioned as one. The full process is written up inhow we develop recipes.
